355 Gearbox Shaft ( Quill Shaft)
Over many years we have had a large amount of requests to look at this problematic part and we are now very proud to offer the Hill Engineering version of this shaft which is far superior to the OEM design. Without giving away our secrets, a good part always starts with a high quality material and no expense has been spared on this part as the material used is an aircraft release specification material that has an ultimate tensile strength of over 45% of the original OEM part and at the same time offering much more torsional flexibility. Heat treated and precision ground.
An absolute must for all challenge / track cars that are using slicks / grippy tyres.
(The female spline on the the crank and flywheel must be inspected for wear/backlash prior to fitment - Warranty will only be valid if mating splines are not worn.)
