Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our pages, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. Using Wordplay secure payment systems. Paypal is also accepted.
Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
We will normally dispatch your order to you within two business days using UPS Courier or Royal Mail*. 99% of our products are always in stock, if your item is not in stock, we will email you with an estimate of delivery time. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. For deliveries outside of the UK we would strongly recommend only using UPS Courier due to not being able to track Royal Mail.
*Please note that if you have opted for Royal Mail, this can take up to 28 days for delivery (especially for international destinations) and we are unable to offer a refund for any goods that do not arrive within the 28 days from the date of dispatch. Once 28 days has elapsed and your goods have still not arrived, please contact us and we will raise a case with Royal Mail and they will start an investigation. On the outcome of the Royal Mail investigation they will inform us if they have failed to deliver the goods and once this is confirmed by Royal Mail we will issue a refund. Please understand the implications of using Royal Mail before choosing this method.
VAT Charges, Taxes & Duties
VAT Charges for orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. Please be advised that orders delivered outside the EU may be subject to local taxes, import duties or customs charges. Hill Engineering is unable to accept responsibility for charges levied by other countries.
Hill Engineering do not disclose buyers information to third parties.
Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management.
Returns Policy & Guarantee
Items are guaranteed against defects in design, materials and workmanship, for a period of 12 months/12,000 miles (whichever occurs first) from the date of purchase. During this period we will repair or replace the product or any defective parts free of charge. We are under no liability in respect of any defects arising from wilful or accidental damage, fair wear and tear, improper use, negligence, abnormal conditions of use, misuse or alteration or repair of any product without our approval. This guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. This guarantee does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out above and in particular we shall not be liable for any consequential loss or damage. If a defect appears, please return the item enclosing a letter giving your name, address and reason for return. Please enclose proof of purchase and date if the repair is within the guarantee period. Once we have inspected the goods we will notify you of your position. Hill Engineering are unable to accept any returns of correctly supplied parts that have been fitted to a vehicle. Correctly supplied goods that are returned to us will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Goods must returned to us unopened, undamaged and in the original packing or the items may be subject to further charges due to us having to inspect the part(s). Delivery and return delivery charges will not be refunded on correctly supplied goods. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from invoice date or on special-order items.
