The early years of Hill Engineering…..

Hill Engineering is a privately owned limited company formed 60 years ago by Mr. L.D Hill in a small workshop in Catford, South East London, specialising in the manufacture or reclamation of unobtainable, broken or worn components. With investment in capital small units were opened in Sangley Road, Catford, South East London. Hill Engineering (Catford) Ltd was formed in 1954 and moved to a single unit in 1963 and then to its current premises in 1986, where it has made considerable investment in various CNC machinery. One of the largest projects we undertook in these early years was the manufacture and installation of Radio Therapy Units in the UK, Switzerland and Russia.

Hill Engineering had been supplying the F1 & Motorsport industry with ultra high quality precision components for the last 25 years and over several years had designed and manufactured world class items for the range of Ferrari vehicles that are now known & highly respected all over the world. Today we are continually being asked by Independent Ferrari Engineers & individuals to look into manufacturing of parts be it an item that was originally designed poorly or an item that is no longer available from the factory. Either way you can be assured that the vast amount of engineering experience we hold is put into making the finest parts for your Ferrari.
